The Week of 2/1-2/5

Welcome to the Second Semester!

• Monday 2/1:  Teacher Work Day.  No School.
• Tuesday 2/2:  Hand back Final Exams and Final grades.  Review energy changes in chemical reactions.  Calculate enthalpy changes.  First side of worksheet due Thursday.  Read 12.1 and 12.2.
• Wednesday 2/3:  Mid-day FLEX.
• Thursday 2/4:  Hess's Law and Heat of Reaction Lab.  Collect data, do calculations, and check Hess's law.  Write up due Monday 2/8.  FLEX during lunch.
• Friday 2/5:    Applying Hess's Law to multiple chemical reactions.  12-3 worksheet due Tuesday.  Read 12.3.
